OCATE

The Congolese Observatory for Universal Access to Energy (OCATE) is an observation and information tool designed to continuously monitor the evolution of electrification in the country, as well as the development of renewable energies within the DRC's energy mix. This is done based on official objectives and indicators established at national and international levels.

Our Mission

OCATE's mission is to monitor and analyze the evolution of electrification in the DRC, while supporting universal access to energy through: Indicator tracking; Promotion of renewable energies; Critical analysis; Data collection; Communication and awareness.

Our Objective

The main objective is to bring together key actors in the energy sector to conduct in-depth analyses of electrification in the DRC.
